Janine Webber

Janine studied Physiotherapy in Johannesburg, South Africa and qualified in 2004 from the University of the Witwatersrand. After qualifying, Janine worked in a government hospital in Johannesburg for 10 years treating a variety of conditions including trauma, respiratory, neurology and neuromuscular conditions.

In 2008, Janine did her Masters degree by dissertation focusing on patients with hypertension and associated cardiovascular diseases. Her study was published in the African Journal of Public Health and Family Medicine in 2013. Janine spent the next two years managing physiotherapists in 13 community health clinics surrounding Johannesburg.

In 2016, Janine opened a private practice and spent the next 5 years to date treating pain and sports injuries. Janine is also a BASI-qualified pilates instructor as she believes a strong core is essential for proper rehabilitation. She enjoys sport and competed internationally in track and field and provincially in field hockey as a student.

Janine has been married for 15 years and has two children aged 6 and 9.  Recently, Janine and her family moved to Canada and decided to live in Nanaimo because of its beautiful surroundings and awesome outdoor opportunities. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys being out in nature, loves sports, cooking and baking.

Janine is passionate about seeing patients fully recovered and reaching their goals!
